Myfax Redefines "page" as minutes it takes to fax your page
I thought I was getting 100 free fax pages per month and then a small charge for each page after that. But, hidden in their terms and conditions, MyFax deceptively re-defines "page" as the number of minutes it takes to send each real physical page of your fax.
I sent a one-page fax to 240 recipients and got charged for 740 pages.
I now have $40 in charges now on my credit card that I'm trying to dispute with my credit card company.
I hope we can get a class action lawsuit against them and all the other names this company goes by.
Reason of review: You redefined "page" as minutes!.
Monetary Loss: $40.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Myfax Cons: How they deceptively redefined a fax page as minutes, Terms of service, Customer service.

Your an ***. A lot of companies do this.
Umm yeah that is pretty common. How big was the file you were sending?
100k doc or PDF file should go through easily, but a 4 meg jpg of the same file would not. You do know a fax machine is a dial up modem right, not high speed internet?
1970-80s technology. The larger the file the longer it takes to have the fax machine download the file, like 5-10 minutes a mg or longer depending on the fax machine.
I just filed a formal complaint about this company with the Federal Trade Commission. I encourage everyone to do that as well.
