Myfax Needs a Class Action Suit for Aggressive Billing after cancellation!!!!
I signed up for a free trial on 5/4/15, sent a 7 pg fax that had to be resent another way! I cancelled service, also because immediately I started receiving faxes from Dr or Dentist offices with patient personal identifying information (referrals) through apparently and unknowingly a no reply customer service email.
Q) Why would customer service be non-repliable to begin with!? After thinking I had successfully unsubscribed and having only used it the 1 time, later found my account was short and in looking it up found I'd been charged $10 on 6/4. My emails began, apparently still to this no-reply email that was messaging me stating they were unable to obtain payment, to which I was like good, great, not supposed to be taking it out! But then it did anyways!
Same thing the next month but on 7/17 instead for another $10, then received more unable to obtain notices to which I replied for them to stop, (putting it in writing) don't do it anymore and yet yesterday again $37 was taken out this time! I finally reached a person to speak to this time from the number on my banking information as to where the charge came from. SO, my one time only, 7 pg fax that didn't work, during the "FREE" trial has cost me $57.00!!!! This seems unethical to me that they can do this and get away with it!
I believe a class action suit is necessary to get them to change these practices and stop ignoring people who are telling them they do not want to be a customer and send repliable links in each correspondence to address the issues.
