I tried to update my credit card information online because my card had some charges on it that were not mine, so my bank cancelled it and sent me a new card. When a monthly payment was declined by the inactivate card, MyFax sent me information on updating the card but it never seemed to work.
Moreover, I am on vacation and not near my computer, so I am working from my iPhone. I just needed to ask if the card information was updated or not. However, it is so frustrating not to be able to simply ask a question by phone!
I vehemently dislike chat! I need a real human to update my credit card information, and AI does not work!

This company is a scam. There is no way to reach anyone in customer service.
Ive been trying to cancel my account since November. If you email their support, you will get a blanket email back automatically. It will give you information on how to cancel on the website but this function does not work. It will tell you that there is a chat function for Support and that is actually not true.
if you call the Support number, it is a message saying they no longer provide support over the phone. I finally called the sales number and someone picked up immediately. He pretended he didnt hear me when I said hello. Then he kept acting like he didnt know, what I was talking about, like he doesnt even have a business or anything.
He literally is gaslighting you like you are not even calling a company.
Ive been getting charges from MyFax Since last November that Ive been trying to cancel. At this point, I need to contact my credit card company to report them as a fraud.

Payment
I have had this service for 15 years and needed to provide a new billing card. I was traveling and needed assistance by phone due to an important fax that could not be delivered.
I had to wait 4 additional days until I returned to my computer to correct this. Not happy with the lack of flexibility.
No way to cancel
I signed up for the free 14 day trial. It states on there website to cancel to go to the billing section, Log in to MyFax Central.
Go to the Account Details section on the top navigation.
Click on the Billing tab here you will find the Cancel My Account link.
That link was NEVER there.
It says it cannot be used in there is an outstanding balance, or multiple numbers.
They sent a bill saying I had a late fee.
I emailed, and they said to use the chat function. IT IS NOT THERE Either.
I want this canceled and my money back, this is outright FRAUD.

I accepted a 14 day "free trial", sent one fax, and canceled the same day. The next month my credit card bill showed two charges of $10 each.
I called the company to dispute the charges and they agreed to give me a credit of $20, even giving me a confirmation number. After two weeks, no credit appeared. I called MyFax again to inquire and was told that the credit had been "denied by Finance".
They insisted I used the service beyond the trial period before canceling. Do not give this company your credit card number!

Impossible to delete account
there is not a link to delete account, impossible to contact helpline, impossible to achieve the chat, numbers are unreachable, how can i do?????

I have The Misfortune of doing the trial for myfax. Not only did the service suck and it couldn't send a fax, but when I try to call in to cancel the service the customer rap disconnected the call deliberately and a desperate attempt to keep me on the hook as a customer to pay.
When I finally got an opportunity to call back and go through their long convoluted automation system, I got the same horrible customer rep Matthew a second time.
He over talk to me, he was rude and very unwilling to cancel the service. Myfax has got to be kidding if they expect customers to hang on for crap like that especially when a dollar is so hard to come by to spend these days.

MyFax cancellation process is a trap
MyFax cancellation process is a trap. They keep charging your credit card even after you request cancellation. Its even worse that they dont want to refund because there is no refund policy.

Well I checked my banking account and $10.00 was coming out fit a few months so I tried calling customer service and no answer. Do u emailed a few months ago which I do have the email saved.
And told them I never signed up for nothing and guess what? I get no email back nor do I get any phone call. Yes I did leave my name and number.
Well *** they tried taking money out again this month. I'm do *** pissed, I even called my lawyer.
I'm tired of all this fraud ***

MYFAX, I have had it for several years. Stopped using it in April 2019, Contacted them in August to cancel.
They continued to bill me until I called today. The associate told me that I had contacted them in August via email and they were not allowed to cancel me via email. I then asked for a refund only back to Nov 2019 to be overly fair with this and was told no refund.
I was on a chat with the company as well and they said the same thing. WARNING ***DO NOT USE***

Like so many other reviews I could write word for word . I have never signed up for this company they cannot locate my account .
I gave them my card number to research was told he membership that I never signed up for was
Cancelled and would receive a 20.00 refund the refund never came and now this morning I discover a 3rd charge for 10.00 was
On hold for 18 min so hung up . I should have cancelled my credit card.
I have no other charges to my card but I know I never signed up for a fax service this has scam written all over it . I feel like driving to LA to this company and our my foot right in rbs *** of whoever is running this show

No, they refuse to honor the refund they promised
Hi,
So I signed up for the myfax monthly service plan that is advertised to give me 50 pages of faxed documents for $5 per month.
In October, they charged me the $5 then $10- 4 times for the service.
After I called them they stated that in reality they charge for some kind of time period(s) that the faxing actually takes so somehow a time period equates to a number of faxed pages so if your faxes take a long time (duration) to send or receive, they charge you more. Supposedly that is in their customer agreement somewhere but they advertise that they offer xx number of pages for xx number of $$.
I told the rep that was not explained to me when I signed up and I have no control over how they send or receive the faxes or the connection to the other party and explained that I don't think its fair that they charged me over and over and in amounts/increments I never agreeed to.
Their rep stated he could give me a one-time courtesy credit/refund of $30 to the payment card I used or to credit the account. I asked for the credit/refund to my payment card.
I called back a few days later when the credit/refund did not show up in my bank (payment card account).
They advised it could take 3-5 business days so I waited a week and emailed back. In the meantime, I contacted another company and switched my fax number to the new company.
When I emailed back to ask about the credit/refund I am being told that they had appplied a $20 (not $30 as agreed) credit to the account but now that I have switched companies the only thing they can do is give me a refund of the unused credit on the account of $10.40.
I feel like they are falsely advertising the fact that you pay $$ for xx pages when they actually are charging you by some kind of time duration that they equate to pages.
Further, I feel like they should refund my payment card as agreed upon but they will not.
I'd like to inform anyone online that they operate in these deceptive and dishonest ways and told them as much too.
