It should be easy to cancel an online service, but for some reason (read: in order to make it difficult to cancel in the hopes that you'll give up and keep sending money) it's not. You need to call customer service to cancel.
Then, if you're like me, you will be put on hold for 15 minutes, told repeatedly by a robot that your call is important, and then have the machine hang up on you.
Protip, in order to get it to work, I pretended to not know my fax #, pressing star instead as they allow, and then tell the rep who miraculously picks up now that you're not saying up-front that you intend to cancel, that you want to cancel.
Then after being bugged about reduced prices and other offers, it will finally work... hopefully.
Preferred solution: Put an easily accessed, working cancellation link on your website.

I was robbed
I transferred my 888 fax number from RingCentral to MyFax. My new plan was sending maximum 100 pages per month for $10 per month.
First time that I used their service I sent a fifty pages fax. MyFax emailed me back saying your fax did not go through, so I re-sent the fax. Again MyFax emailed me again that it did not go through, so I had to do it again, same thing happened 4 times. I gave up then.
MyFax charged me additional $40 for sending more than 100 pages per month. When I complaint about their service and asked to be reimbursed they canceled my account and even kept my 888 number which I had for the past 10 years.

I cancelled subscription in June 2017, but they kept charging me for 9 months
I cancelled subscription in June 2017 by speaking to the customer support and sending an email form the record.
They kept charging me for 9 months, until April 2018 when thanks to the app Prosper I that was able to see these recurring charges.
When I called again to complain about continued charges, in April 2018, and resent them a email with my request from June 2017, they refused to refund me anything by the last charge.
I did confirm with them that I did not use the service and did not log in into their app after May 2017.
They even charged me one of the months a penalty of the late payment, when my credit card has changed, but then figured out my new card number, under the guise that I had a subscription (but really -- I have no idea how, my bank says they would not have given it to them), and continued their charges.
Now I am suing them in a small claims court.
