Details
Do not sign up EVER, because once you do it is for LIFE! These people will continuously bill you...you can call and cancel and get a confirmation of cancellation REPEATEDLY and they will continue to bill. Turn them in as a fraudulent charge...prove your case have the charges reversed... The next month there the are again!! Absolutely horrific.

Fraudulent billing

This company habitatually fraudulently bills customers and this is clear from reading reviews: https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/myfax.com First off, you can't cancel your account yourself or via email, you have to call or live chat the company. I called and spent 15 minutes dodging sales pitches to finally cancel my account. Then, I was billed anyway. A rep said that they "had received a request to reinstate my account". no such request was made so this is a lie. when I said as much, they changed their story to saying they "had canceled the wrong account" which is definitely a lie because I had to given multiple pieces of identifying information when I canceled my account. Then, the finance team denied my refund request! I was only able to get it overturned because I had saved the chat conversation where the rep admitted that "they had canceled the wrong account". The finance team claimed that they "intended to refund my account but actually made a mistake", which is suspect. Other reviews of the company show that this these lies and run-arounds are common practice with MyFax. This company is utterly fraudulent and needs to be penalized or shut down.

Myfax is a scam. I can't cancel my Subscription

I try to live chat, email and call. But can't to connect their customer service to cancel subscription. I must request the bank to open the new credit card. Monetary Loss: $30. I didn't like: Could not cancel the Subscription and can't remove your credit card information. It is a trap It took me 15 minutes of waiting to get through to someone. Making it extremely difficult and frustrating for the customer to cancel an account is a very *** practice and it exists for one SOLE reason: To squeeze an extra payment out of each subscriber. This company does not deserve ANY business whatsoever. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Fraudulently charges card after trial and won't answer support number

Just found out that myfaxcentral.com has been charging my card for over a year, even after I sent multiple emails to cancel my account. I stayed on hold to support for over an hour, with no-one ever answering my call. The only phone number that they'll answer is for the Sales department. When I spoke to Sales, I said the word "cancel" and got hung up on. When I called back, he pretended he couldn't hear me very well and transferred me back into the support black-hole, where I stayed on hold for another 20 minutes before giving up entirely. This site is a scam, plain and simple.

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY, providing no service whatsoever in return.There is an obvious top down culture of out and out fraud.May each and every principle and employee in this company reap what they have sown. As per their policies I called and cancelled TWICE (hold times both times are ridiculous!!) . Then proceed to email customer service and tell them this. They again tell me to call to cancel. I again state I have tried and refuse to do it again and that is why I am putting it in writing. They repeatedly send emails back to cancel via phone. Again wasting my time because their staff doesn't either know how or they are scamming people (MY ASSUMPTION AT THIS POINT) I called my credit card company to cancel my credit card so no further charges can be made. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and State Atty General and filed a formal complaint as well. I suggest everyone else do the same.

WORST Customer Service EVER and Fraudulent Advertising

I had to send a fax to a health care provider and wasn't able to get to a fax service in my town so I signed up for MyFax, thinking since they advertised a 30 day free trial that I could send my one fax and cancel the subscription. HA! Instead, they charged $10 to my bank 2 DAYS after I signed up and went back to the site to cancel my subscription. I called my bank and they investigated and reimbursed the $10. Today--4 weeks later--I get a phone call from MyFax telling me I owed them $24! I told the "customer service" rep in no uncertain terms that I would not be sending them $24 and that I reported their scam to my bank who agreed the charge was fraudulent. I have also written to the FTC as well.
